Be where you are.
The purpose of any meditation – observance – mindfulness – attention etc,, is two-fold. To unburden a mind of embedded questionable concepts, and replace them with a new experience of the reality we live in. A reality we will always want to share. Consciousness needs at least one other.
Polarisation is the mechanical consequence of minds radicalized from birth. Nationality – Race – Color or Creed, whatever Life has to offer, you become subject to it. To dissolve all those boundaries requires you to find new food for thought.
Everything that is, is relative.. All life is relative, that is an absolute. The child who dies of starvation on the other side of the planet, is connected to you.
Consider a planet with 7.5 bilion people who are interdependent and interconnected. Human beings with consciousness that share the same Space – Time – Energy – Matter that you do. A factual reality that is absolute. There are no proprietary rights in those domains.
The particle we are, only becomes more conscious when we realize we exist only through the actual presence of others.
We must learn to see ourselves in them. There is no separation. There are no dichotomies.
Your daily kaleidoscope of “thoughts” that cement and build your individual personality are irrelevant until you “experience” some form of cognition, or an awareness of something new that touches your very being.
All forms of ancient meditation are specifically designed to still the “thoughts” and let you Be.
My specific attention is toward June 22 2017 and some tricky cervical neck surgery. Practiced “visualization” some time ago. Starting with photographs of family it became a useful ‘internal’ tool to replace ‘scrambled’ thoughts. Took it upon myself to ‘externalize’ my ninety years of living and was breathtakingly astonished at the panorama of family life my mind exposed. With no exertion from me, memories of every kind of relationship appeared as though the drama of my whole life was still extant. Is it?
It is a common saying that before you shuffle off , your whole life passes before your eyes. I’m still here!
A butterfly in a cocoon will never know it is a butterfly until it emerges from the cocoon and sees another butterfly, and all the diverse creations of other butterflies.
Internal – External.
True semantics can only be based on the factual statement that “Everything is”.
Common consciousness is the only true repository of the Semantic Template. Its content is there at your disposal as there is no ownership, or restriction as to its use.
It functions according to the collective specifics of Space – Time – Energy – Matter,
The innate concepts can only deliver correct definitions when its elementary categories
are then put in place to provide meaning for you, otherwise…………………..
Where there are principles (correct theories) there is certainty. They provide the reason for multitudinous common-sense activity, which translated in any community makes sense of what is common to us all. It has already been said earlier, that curiously, the sensory receptors of Homo sapiens seem to be remarkably accurate in universally acting in concert with the various functions required for civilized societies to survive.
Our evolutionary advantage is that language with all its complexities has already been created.
Footnote: To refresh the original purpose of my earlier blogs. These shorter inserts offer the reason I started to search for any data, ancient or otherwise on human consciousness, specifically related to Alzheimer’s.
At 89 years of age (well past my used by date) it may well be that I am a candidate with a focus on my own pending dementia. If so, then the theory and the method I write about is holding it at bay. To address the health of my mind in this way could be the catalyst that retains its own functional activity.
A semantic template can be created using data on both domain pages. No definition of absolutes or principles can be ill-defined.
They are always interconnected and interdependent.
Each configuration constructed by anyone has meaning particular to them, although its value is universal. That is why it is never personal property!
‘That men do not learn very much from the lessons of history is the most important of all the lessons of history’.
Aldous Huxley (26 July 1894 -22 November 1963.
Amen to that!
